Get to know Tim

I genuinely love the work I do as a therapist. I graduated from Loyola University in 2017 and became a fully licensed therapist in 2019. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with people through some of the most difficult but also meaningful seasons of their lives.

My particular niche is working alongside men individually, who often carry a significant internal burden that they may rarely talk about or even have words for. Therapy can provide a space to put some of that weight down, make sense of it, and learn how to express what is really going on beneath the surface.

I also very much enjoy working with couples. Having myself been married since 2015, my own relationship has taught me a great deal about communication, vulnerability, conflict, and the work it takes to build a lasting relationship. Those experiences led me to embrace the Gottman Method, a therapeutic orientation which focuses heavily on intentionally building what they call Love Maps as well as Turning Toward versus away from your partner.

Personally coming from a broken home has also shaped the way I view relationships and connection. I understand how deeply people need a sense of belonging, stability and togetherness, and so I place a great deal of value on meaningful social connection. Out of this, I try to create a space that feels grounded, genuine, and safe enough for people to be as honest as they like.
